Dr Shaid Hussain

Dr Hussain qualified in 2012 from Peninsula Dental School at the University of Plymouth and has worked in many areas of dentistry since from general practice to Special Care Dentistry.

Dr Hussain is passionate about dentistry and is always striving for excellence for his patients. He is keen to help patients achieved their goals for their smile and oral health. Dr Hussain carries out complex smile designs as well as general dentistry, in addition to cosmetic treatments including Invisalign, teeth whitening and composite bonding. Dr Hussain has a keen interest in dental photography, using the images he takes to plan cases and advise patients on their options.

Following his training at Guy’s Hospital, Dr Hussain achieved a Diploma in Conscious Dental Sedation which he carries out regularly to treat extremely anxious patients at Stag Dental Care. In addition to this he uses Dental Acupuncture, to manage and treat anxious and nervous patients.

He is also an avid football fan, as well being the official dentist for Rotherham United Football Club. In his spare time, he enjoys training in MMA, BJJ and keeping fit.

Dr Haniya Hasan

Dr Hasan has worked in general dental practice for over a decade. She qualified from Leeds University in 2011 and then worked in London for a number of years, before moving to and working in Yorkshire.

Dr Hasan has a patient focused, holistic approach to dentistry and is always keen to bring new and exciting technologies and innovation to her patients. Dr Hasan can offer Invisalign and smile makeovers and also enjoys helping patients achieve their oral health goals; whether that be a perfect smile, the ability to eat comfortably or the relief from pain.

Dr Hasan also holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Kings College London University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Sedation and Pain management from Eastman University in London.

Dr Hasan enjoys eating out, movies and going to the gym. She also enjoys exploring Yorkshire and the occasional visit to her hometown of London.

Mr Jon Merrills

Mr Merrills qualified as a dentist in 1992 from Liverpool University. He worked in a practice in the Walton area of Liverpool for 10 years as an associate. Then, after a further two year spell at a practice in Warrington, he returned to his native Rotherham and commenced working at Stag Dental Care in 2003 where he has happily remained ever since. This means Mr Merrills has now amassed 30 years of dental experience which he calls on when treating his patients at Stag Dental Care.

Mr Merrills has a great enthusiasm for motorcycling and enjoys walking and cycling in his spare time.

Dr Aadam Hassan

Dr Aadam Hassan is a skilled dentist excelling in general dentistry with a special interest in composite bonding, Invisalign and Implants. He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2019 and has a passion for dentistry, offering personalised and meticulous care to his patients. Dr Hassan’s commitment to staying updated and ensuring his patients comfort makes him a trusted dentist, creating confident smiles and enhancing overall oral health. Dr Hassan is keen to use the latest digital technology for a more comfortable experience.

Stacey Bartholomew

Stacey qualified in 2019 from the University of Sheffield. She thrives on helping patients with their oral hygiene and keen to encourage good habits in her patients. She works closely with the Dentists, carrying out a variety of treatments such as gum disease treatment, airflow, whitening, and fillings. She is a very understanding and empathetic professional and likes to take her time with patients and ensure they have the tools to maintain a healthy mouth.

In her spare time, she enjoys socialising, spending time with family and running.
